Why a 2-day school week?
Cottage schools are schools that meet less than five days a week. This model efficiently uses classroom time during school hours, enables parental involvement in the student’s education, and maximizes the family’s role in shaping the child’s faith and character.
Invested teachers provide academic instruction in core academic subjects two school days a week. Students complete the balance of the work on the three home days. Parental engagement varies depending on the age of the student. Parents prioritize time at home for reading, homework, and other educational pursuits.
